> The skipper, Fred Moinet
With a passion for the sea, Fred Moinet was one of the youngest sea guides back in 1984. Armed with his dive masters, he discovered deep-sea navigation while supervising dive cruises in the Comoros. In Reunion Island he created the "Grand Bleu Océan Indien" diving centre for which he holds the title of regional leader for company start-ups. Despite living on a yacht, the charms of this mountainous island led him to another passion he had discovered while working as an ice diving instructor in Tignes: the world of paragliding. With his certification in hang-gliding and paragliding and now a Powered Paraglider Instructor, he started the "Azurtech" paragliding centre in 1991.
In 1997 he bought and restored the Hnoss and decided to create the first professional sailing school in the Reunion Island, the "Compagnie des Alizés". From one island to another, he took over the helm of Streamline Charters in the Seychelles, and today he invites you to discover nearby and remote islands, by sail, and some diving for those who wish.

> A valid passport is required to enter the islands (valid for the European Union only, citizens from other countries should consult their consulates).

> Even if you do not burn easily the sun is much stronger at sea than on land and with the cool sea breeze you will not realise you are getting sunburnt. Travellers must bring a wind-resistant sunhat or cap, sunglasses with a cord, a sweatshirt or long-sleeved shirt and a pair of trousers. Sun block with a high SPF is vital for the first days.
IIf you are on medication, it is unlikely you will find a pharmacy on the trip so make sure you are carrying the right quantities. There are no special health risks for cruises in this region.

> Luggage
Our boats are comfortable but not quite the Queen Mary (nor the Titanic luckily!!), your cabin space is limited and it will be difficult to fit suitcases. Bring travel bags, which are much easier to fit in the lockers at your disposal.

> Manoeuvre and life on board
the crew is able to operate the boat on their own. However, while not a sailing school, they will be happy to let you share in their love of the sea and teach you the basics of sailing. If you so wish, you will very soon be able to participate in the manoeuvring and steering the boat. It is a sailboat, not a cruise ship with 1500 crewmembers so don't expect "grande cuisine" cooking, just nice tasty dishes! The menu may vary depending on fresh fruit and vegetable produce bought and what has been fished. If you wish, you are free to bring salamis, bottles of Bordeaux or any other gourmet delights which can only add to the fun friendly atmosphere of the boat. Everything is prepared for your stay, however there is no cleaning staff on the cruise.

> Various
Participation on these tours does not require any knowledge of sailing or the sea. Even those who are not into sport and physical activity can enjoy the trip and the magical scenery of the Seychelles.

> Seasickness
Our catamaran sails perfectly flat and we cruise in very calm waters, sheltered from islands for the most part of the cruise. If you think you might be susceptible to seasickness you may bring a few pills recommended by your pharmacist, however these small discomforts usually disappear quite quickly on this type of boat.
