We generally respect the cruise plan but for security reasons it may be modified. Your skipper is not an amateur, he is licensed, he is the captain. He is responsible for your security and in this manner his decisions are sovereign. In case of very difficult weather, the cruise may be partially cancelled. If everyone agrees (including the skipper, of course) you may ask for changes in the planning and itinerary. That's freedom !!!
